Ep. 11: WWE Greatest Royal Rumble review

Published

on

WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble (eh….) emanated from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, taking place in the hulking King Abdullah Sports City.

But was it anywhere WWE’s “greatest” show? Joe and Tim give their review in a special Monday episode, and consider whether it was just the Greatest House Show.

šŸ¤¼BRAAAAAAUUUUUUUUNN! Braun Strowman won the actual 50-man battle royal, eliminating Big Cass to earn a trophy, a green championship belt … and possibly a future opportunity at the WWE Universal Championship.

šŸ¤¼The Universal and WWE title matches were enjoyable but had schmozz endings designed to continue storylines.

šŸ¤¼The ladder match might’ve stolen the show!

šŸ¤¼Ā Worldwide! Titus O’Neill entered the history books for a much, much different reason, tripping and falling nearly beneath the ring during his Royal Rumble entrance.

WWE Super Show-Down Review & Fallout

Published

on

Joe and Tim finally finished WWE Super Show-Down (The Undertaker completed his entrance the minute before they recorded) and have plenty of thoughts.

What did they think of Undertaker vs. Triple H? A.J. Styles vs. Samoa Joe? The Shield vs. … whatever Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre are calling themselves?

None of those were the match of the night, though. (Hint: Buddy. Freaking. Murphy.)

Plus, they talk about the fallout on Raw — including the (sort of) announcement that Shawn Michaels is returning to the ring — and SmackDown Live, and what it all will mean heading into Crown Jewel and beyond.
