Published

on

Tim got a free ticket to WWE Evolution this past weekend and gives his notes on the experience!

Joe and Tim review the event, including the magnificent Becky Lynch-Charlotte “Last Woman Standing” match, Ronda Rousey’s performance, Toni Storm vs. Io Shirai, Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler and much more!

The guys also look ahead to the controversial Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia this Friday — and how the company is dealing with performers who aren’t showing up. (Hint: Hope you watched the first half hour of SmackDown this week.)

They review Raw and SmackDown to go along with these two events and, in honor of Halloween, reveal their Top 5 Scariest Wrestling Moments!

This one was pretty traumatizing.

Oh, and Priscilla Kelly shoved her “used tampon” into her opponent’s mouth.

Published

on

A few things happened while we were on break. Kenny Omega left New Japan Pro Wrestling after an outstanding main-event loss at Wrestle Kingdom 13.

Will he go to the company founded by his Bullet Club friends? We’ll have more on the introduction to All Elite Wrestling and give our reactions to the WK13 card and results.

We also had to pay our respects to “Mean” Gene Okerlund, who passed away. We remember our favorite moments from one of the most prominent sports entertainment voices in history.

WWE TLC Results, Top 5 WWE Performers of the Year

Published

on

Joe and Tim use their last podcast of 2018 to look back on some of the year’s best highlights and rank their Top 5 WWE Performers of the year.

Too bad Asuka is enjoying an incredible run to end the year. Her victory over Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in the — highly justified — main event of WWE TLC puts her back on the map for the upper echelon of the company’s workers.

Of course, help from Ronda Rousey does wonders for advancing the main-event women even further heading into Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season.

The guys go over the other fallout from the pay-per-view, including Daniel Bryan-A.J. Styles and the … disappointing? … Dean Ambrose-Seth Rollins bout.

Also … did the McMahon reunion save Raw and SmackDown Live? Hint: Only ONE of those shows needed saving!

Happy Holidays and 2019!
